It's actually refreshing to see bystanders assist the cop rather than distract and harass him as they normally do. :seasix:

Sucking chest wound. The cop stayed cool and remembered his training. :seasix:

It's crazy ain't it? I thought cops murdered every person they come in contact with. :confused5:

The MSM never mentions that more Blacks are killed each year by women VS Police.

Why wasn't a social worker there doing that ??? :confused5:
And of course the police should be defunded right.

Some how he'll be labeled racist because the victim he helped wasn't black.

Gotta admit, he stayed cool under pressure and took charge like a boss!

Fast thinking for the win. I have a kit that includes chest seals. I wonder if cops have similar AFAK type kits?

Some, but probably for themselves.

Are wounds like that self-sealing on people who are overweight? Just wonderin. Sounds logical :)

Your bigger issue is going to be tension pneumothorax. If you have to pop an obese person, is the needle going to be long enough. I think most 14 gauge needles out there are 46 mm long. Not really long enough for a person with a lot of tactical girth.

TCCC says when in doubt stick ‘em. I carry two needles. Not EDC. I learned that minimum gear is of two types. Making holes and plugging holes. I pray nobody ever uses that damn clotting gauze on me. Absolutely brutal.

I have started carrying a tournaquet as part of my EDC. I’m surprised more people don’t. When you need one, YOU NEED ONE.
