We used to get off work at the restaurant and go watch MTV at someone's place. Video killed the radio star. Now BS crap killed the video star.

Whatever that stupid "reality show" was back when killed mtv and gave us all the bullshit shows being popular.

The first few years were very good on mtv, then the good VJs were gone.

I bought my first stereo capable TV because of the early days of MTV.

Saw MTV once. Was inside a house back in the 80's after cable started up and MTV was playing on their TV... Didn't look like anything I'd spend money on :rofl:

Our son was 3 or 4 when this came out; he freaked out when it came on MTV. :lol:

Never got cable till the late 80's but definitely old enough to remember when they played music lol.

Yeah MTV was great when it started, the racists bastards refused to play Micheal Jackson songs as they were not Rock 'N Roll - then it all turned to shit.
