Dum ????

In a C3 vette or for that matter I suspect any vehicle with 4 wheel discs....

which end of the car does the dual section m/cyl go...?? back section near the pedal goes to rear...NO??

and of course front to the front brakes....so the rear brakes get applied first, before the front.....NO??

:confused5:

I always thought the brake systems were split for safety/redundancy, and that all wheels got their brakes applied at the same time. I've seen that some are split front/rear, & some diagonally; don't know the reasons for each, if any. :island14:

I thought at least some vehicles have a modulator that divides the pressure of the brake fluid appropriately between front and year. I think front and rear receives the pressure at the same time, though.

Yes, there is a distribution block (aka Proportioning Valve?) mounted on the drivers side frame...that's where all of the hardlines from the Calipers go, and then two lines up to the Master Cylinder. (on a C3 at least)
