IP ban?
 

Tried to post a reply to a thread this morning, and received an error. Tried to post a thread, also got an error. Now, I can't access this site from any device on my home network.

Hang on, I think Tom is working on it!

Should be fixed now. It got a bunch of people this time.

This banning action is done by the server firewall, not a person...Whatever was in the attempted post triggered it, usually it's text that mimics an SQL command.
When this happens, I know how to fix it...but each time the software is updated (every few months it seems), my changes are overwritten, and it starts banning IPs again. :banghead:

Oh, and Wendy, I don't believe this would be the problem you were having, since yours was intermittent as I understand it.
I didn't cross-check every IP to see who all was affected, I just cleared the entire list this time.

Yea, I figured so. Mine is a problem with my computer loading the page when there is a connectivity issue. Have not had the issue in a few days. When it does, I'll do what you suggested.
