DFW Auto repair shops?

DFW peeps,

Who would you take your Corvette to if it need mechanical work/repairs done in the DFW area, if you could not do it yourself?

Who do you trust to work on your Vette?

Who do you not trust?

For alignment and suspension work, these guys are very good. Helped me with the C4 coil-overs and suspension upgrades.

Tell Kyle, James sent you...

Jim Welch at Mid Cities Classics is well known, and is helping with my C3 (rust in windshield frame :banghead: ). He works on just about every model, and is not a budget shop, but it will be done right.

Thanks James,

Have any of you heard of or had any dealings with Automotive Performance Unlimited in Benbrook? They specialize in Corvettes.

I have stopped by there several times, but have not used them for any work as of yet. Their shop is full of all makes and models, and they are always friendly and helpful. One of the owners gave good advice on how to open and repair a stuck door lock on my 71. Seem like nice folks.
