thanks for the accepttence into this group. first time owner. i have found looking for some small has become a chore. don't want to do a restor. just want to keep it correct. desperately searching for a neutral safety switch, gm part # 1994242, if anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. thanks again. vern

thanks for all the views. got that problems solved. here's another one. 1987 c4 all gauges work except speedo. which it will register sometimes but not correct. all repair manuals list a part i think i need can't find it under name the book calls it. SPEEDOMETER SIGNAL GENERATOR that is on transmission. in other words i believe in the old days it would have been a speedometer cable. anyone with knowledge about this i really would appreciate hearing for you. thank you guys for any help.
