My daughter just picked up a 50rd box of CCI Blazer 9mm aluminum case for $18.99. Still stupid high, but much better than the $50, $60, and $70 dollar boxes I've been seeing! Granted, it's aluminum case, so you reloaders(myself included) won't care much for it, but I'm sure it's just fine for non reloaders as range fodder. Is this a sign that prices are starting to finally drop? I can only hope!

Have seen CCI Blazer in 45acp that came packed with Speer Gold Dot bullets. When it comes to making holes in things it just doesn't get better than that. That would be worth $20/50 to me.

Cases aren't reloadable but that doesn't always matter. Nothing's less fun than scrounging around for a half hour trying to find ejects. Unless shooting in a structured environment it's an impossible task, might find half of them. I'd rather just use Blazer (or old thin brass) and continue on with the rest of my day.

Funny you mention that. these were bought at a store with an indoor range. It's the only 9 they had. I wonder if they allow you to shoot it there? :confused5:

It would be perfectly acceptable here in GA as it is not steel cased. I have shot a shit ton of Blazer ammo in all forms and have never had a failure to feed, fire or eject. Can't say the same for Winchester white box 9mm; one of which suffered from a dead primer in the middle of a Glock match... and again only once in many thousands of rounds.

CCI also has a Blazer Brass line of fully reloadable cases.
