What's a lid?
 

For those of you who grew up in the 70's I'm not talkin about weed here. I see the F body guys on LS1Tech always listing a "Lid" as one of their mods but I have no idea what this is. I thought maybe it was an air cleaner mod but I dunno. I'm not askin over there cuz I'll get the noob hammer. :monkey:

"Lid" could that mean their hood? :bilmem: NO, they would be talking engines. Intake manifold?

It's the "lid" on the air intake that you remove to service/access the filter. Put one on that has a bigger opening and you make more power. On Corvettes the "lid" is what they changed on the 2001 Z06 and then again on the 2002-2004 cars.
