replacing battery tray on 60 corvette
 

I need to replace the battery tray on my 60. the old one has to be cut off including the legs. can this be done from under the hood or do I have to remove the inner panel to get better access to the old tray/legs.

Couldn't find any instruction on the webs about specifically removing the tray, just a lot of places to buy one.

i beleave it can be done from under the hood
