I don't mess with gas |
Glad you are back up and running.
I have to leave water running overnight so the pipes won't freeze. The house is raised with water pipes exposed under the house. Glad I had insulation sprayed under the house a couple years ago! Electric heating has the house up to 64 this morning, but it's still comfortable with the sun warming the living room through the back windows. I will be installing Propane to supplement heating with a gas insert for the fireplace and generator backup. I don't like using the prefab fireplace that smokes up the whole house. |
Two water lines froze on me... One to crapper in wall and a short section i moved this year so it wouldn't freeze(i meant to heat tape it)... :bslap:
New well room I built and insulated the hell out of is a balmy 55 degrees with a small bathroom heater. Bet all my neighbors wells froze. We seldom get down to mid teens here and has been probably 4 years, heater worked well actually was almost hot in house last night. |

I hope the heat pump dies. While 21 yrs old, I do have a home warranty on it |
