It's going to be 16 in Houston tonight, and 10 tomorrow night. And we're expecting rain, meaning everything will be ice. WTF? This is Houston. We cannot deal with this. I just got through wrapping pipes. This is people die if the heat goes out kind of temperature.

Got up to about 35 degrees here today, highest in about 2 weeks. I actually got the ice off my front steps, although I know it will not last. The latest "snowmaggedon" predicted for the early part of this week for much of the country is said to have us on the "rain" side of the equation, which would be great for us if it actually happens as snow piles are somewhat of a problem at this time, and any more melting will be greatly appreciated! :thumbs:

One winter spent days at a mobile home park for older folks thawing pipes and wrapping for them. We didn't get paid but man some of those ladies could cook.

Going through this for almost 2 weeks now and life is just as normal as ever.

I don't understand how life could be sustained at those temperatures. Shit, that's approaching zero degrees Kelvin, right? :D Hat's off to you, sir, for surviving that kind of weather.

We deal with it the same way you guys deal with triple digit heat.
Although it does get hot up here approaching 100 sometimes.

Difference is we know how to drive in the snow and most know All season and Mud and Snow tires mean shit when it gets to 0 and more than an inch of snow.
