Tails from the road...

Drove ~860 miles today, from PA to TN. Averaged around 21.5 mpg in the Gladiator.

Some random observations:

Traffic seems to be back to pre-scamdemic levels.
Restaurants along the way seemed to be busy - parking lots were almost full.
Hippies with Hawaii tags drive hoopties.
Red C8s look pretty damn good.
Tesla drivers are bigger assholes than BMW drivers.
Virginia drivers are bigger assholes than Massholes.
Almost half of the RVs I saw were towing Wranglers.
Late model Mustangs don't like the interstates - they prefer to be parked on the side of the road.
STFU Franklin
70 mph speed limits allow that traffic to flow much better than a 55 mph limit. Notice I said "better", not "faster".
STFU Porter.
People who wear masks in their cars, while driving alone, are idiots.
People who wear masks outside, are idiots.
People who wear masks period, are idiots.
Po-lice in Virginia were working on meeting their quotas. :yesnod:
Polaris Slingshot looks hella fun.

There's a reason I spelled "tails" the way I did.
Will explain tomorrow.
STFU Jimbly

Time for some :shots::shots::shots:

And they'll fill them at your expense if you have out of state plates. I recommend avoidance.

Dogs or Dragon?

snide 03-20-2022 5:57pm

Got back home at 3:00 this morning. Total 1783.5 miles round trip, averaging 21.1. I'm beat.

More observations from the road:

Tesla drivers are stupid, too. One passed me on the right, and on the passenger window, he had some vinyl letters: "Let's Go Brenden". Dunno whoTF Brenden is, but I'm sure the asshat voted for Xiden, because, you know, orange mean tweet man bad.

Polaris Slingshot looks hella fun to drive.

C6 Z06 looks ten times better than C7 Z06. Talking you, @FLEXjs and @Norm. :D

Military convoy was long.

People who don't use cruise control on the freeway are assholes.

I may be dumb, but I'm not dumb enough to take my Gladiator on the Dragon. :slap:
