And it appears to be terminal. :sadangel:

I see people metal detecting on the beaches here, no idea what they find.

Mostly Bud Lite bottle caps and the occasional key to a rental unit

:seasix: It appears to be relaxing, tons of old farms around here. Just get the permission and you are good to go.

Subbed to him too. And a 3rd one, but enjoy THB most. THB and Green Mountain did an episode together once.

It is fun, and I have made enough at it for it to be revenue neutral.

What would you like to know? I started about 45 years ago with a Radio Shack unit and now use a unit I actually found at the side of the road during a hunting trip a few years back. I search at public beaches, State parks which allow such prospecting and open land which is not posted. I have found a lot of coins, a lot of junk, and a bit of jewellery. Since my buy in is so small I feel I am well ahead of the game and I have wasted a lot of free time digging up pull tabs and roofing nails.

True story. I search the beach every time we go, and this year the only coin I recovered at the beach was found while the wife and I took an impromptu stroll at a local beach. It is a 1980s quarter which rolled around out there long enough to lose the silver metal cladding
around the copper core. I thought it was a plastic bottle cap when I bent down to inspect it after I saw it with just my own eyes.

:seasix: I have a little money to spend and plenty of time to kill. As a starter I was looking in the 3-5 hundred dollar range. I have used them before as rentals but they were White machines. I was thinking at that entry level not much to lose, but if I enjoyed it that would go to my son and I would upgrade to a better machine. :seasix:
