The '08 Indy Pace car graphics weren't hideous.

There's a guy in my former car club who I'm sure will be buying one of them. He collects Corvette pace cars, not just Indy ones, but any pace cars. I think he has about ten of them. He has a C5 that he took all the decals off of and had an artist hand paint all the graphics on it, then clear coated it. It wins best paint awards at shows. He also has the car that Jay Leno drove at the Daytona 500.

I do like the looks of the one in the OP and I do think many of the Corvette Indy pace cars are awful looking.

I still say the purple C5 takes the award for worst combination

It has to be the most polarizing Vette ever. Most folks hate it but there are those that love it (not many but they are out there)

...because of what they are. "Indy" is what makes that car cool. It was close to the end of the time when the Indy pace car was a big deal.

If it was just a random car in that scheme I would say it's hideous.
