I found the title to my old '69 Chevelle SS396.

I googled the VIN #, but didn't get any other hits.

Any free sites or way to find current owner if it is still on the road?

I own this car now. I've been wondering if anyone had any paperwork on the car. She's in great shape!
I'd like to talk with you about this car. Its been kept out of the weather for a long time. You can tell. I have what i think is the GA License Plate
that was used for it also.

I'd love to see my old goat/GTO convertible again......but no doubt cut up for parts.....down south in Miami region, last I heard maybe 15 years ago....

no clue as to the vin#......wonder if any of the DMV's could have that without charging arm/leg.....

Yeah I'm not sure what you paid for it or what you sold it for but I'm sure it's not close to how deep I'm in debt on it! Lol

I totally agree that its like trying to find a needle in a hay field but hey, I didn't think I'd find Grey Ghost either. :iagree::banghead:

There is a guy we know that I told Dunlap about that might have been the one to change it out. The car spent most of its life in my town. When I sold it about 25 yrs. ago it went to TN. I also have a friend that remembers the now deceased original owner and earlier yrs. of the car. I'm working with Dunlap to talk with all the people that we can.

can someone run a carfax for me, i remember a long time ago i could get a free VI N check someone told me how but i forgot, my son is planning on picking this one up this saturday, he allready has had several carfax done, but he wants me to do it now, told him if i can get it done for free i would, many thanks
