Trump gives remarks outside of funeral for slain NYPD cop

NYPD brass won't let their officers stand anywhere near Trump. They're there for the funeral of an NYPD officer.

slewfoot 03-29-2024 7:32am

Those are officers from other departments who are behind Trump.

What exactly is a "shitshow" about Trump telling the citizens that the lack of rule of law is retarded?

And where was YOUR guy?

That's right. Hosting a $100,000 a plate fund raising event.

Raazor 03-29-2024 10:03am

There would be reprisals if they stood next to him. Libbed up city/state and all. :yesnod:

Donald Trump has been criticized for attending the wake of New York Police Department officer Jonathan Diller, who was shot and killed on Monday.

Diller approached a car that was parked illegally. The suspects refused to cooperate and one of them shot a round into Diller's stomach before making off.

The two men involved - Lindy Jones and Guy Rivera - have been charged

Aquilinio Gonell, a former police officer who had to retire due to injuries he sustained during the January 6 2021 riots, has branded Trump an "opportunistic grifter" for attending Diller's wake.

He told The Independent: "As the opportunistic grifter that he is, he claims to support the police, law and order, the rule of law yet, he has not met with any officers from Capitol Police who were injured and assaulted or the ones that lost their lives because of his actions and inaction in his attempt to cling to power and the mob that he incited and wanted to lead."

Well, first, the Capitol Police "drew first blood" by lobbing tear gas and rubber bullets at peaceful protestors. You didn't see that video for 3 years, but we finally got to see it. I can see how people peaceably protesting would be upset by that kind of thing. Second, no Capitol police "lost their lives because of Trump's actions." Two Trump supporters lost their lives that day, though, Ashli Babbitt and Roseane Boyland, who was literally BEATEN to death by Capitol Police.

So if the guy is willing to flat out lie about such basic, verifiable things, sorry, he doesn't have a lot of credibility. Maybe he should have been ****ing homegirl Fani down in Jaw-ja. They could have pillow talk, just telling each other incredible lies that are easily proved as lies.

So the media managed to find *someone* (who was not involved AT ALL with the ceremony) to criticize Trump; hold the presses!

The only opinions that should matter here are the victim's family - oh, wait, you mean they actually *invited* Trump to be there? That counts for more than the solicited opinion of someone with an axe to grind.

slew continues to prove he is the biggest TDS patient on all forums.

he uses the words of a politically-controlled Capitol policeman, againsts that of the 100,000s of employed LEOs that have chosen TRUMP over fjb.

But we should give him his due, and time.
slew, please post up your evidence that TRUMP directed any of the JAN 6th protestors to The Capitol with directives to be disorderly.

Here is the speech, please post up his words of incitement:

https://www.npr.org/2021/02/10/96639...eachment-trial

BTW, you CANNOT find his speech on YouTube WITHOUT edits and commentary from those on the left.

Lastly, think about how Jan 6th is being taught to our children in schools??
