Gas for everything, only thing about electric range I like is flat top , easy to clean.

Gas cooktop, six burner is perfect. Dual electric ovens. Which is exactly what I got when we redid the kitchen.

I despised electric cook tops until we got an induction unit. It heats much faster than electric and is very accurate. I can boil 1 cup of water in a small pan in the same time or less than I can boil a cup in the microwave.

Still... cook tops should be gas, IMO.

Five burners are fine especially if the odd one is a high-powered burner or made for griddles. Technically my six burner cook top is a four-burner with a cast iron griddle which lives on the middle two burners. I use that griddle at least three times a week.

Those are good equipment, we have four at work, close to 20 years old and work perfectly
