July Photo Contest
 

This month's subject is Macro/Detail. Any Macro/Micro photo or any photo with lots of detail. This will make it easier for those without a Macro/Micro lens. The usual rules, photo taken this month, no photoshop. HDR approved.

If the date doesn't matter, I have macro.

While I thought this was to inspire people to get their cameras out, I have no problem with older photos. Let's ask the judge. Wendy?:waiting:

Each month the winner of the last month photo contest choose the subject and used these set the rules. But due to the lack of participation now, I have no problem if you, Kelly, decide you want change the rule for this month to include older pics. You picked the topic and you can change up the rules for your contest if you want too. :seasix:

Okay, I probably missed the deadline, but here's one of my favorite shots. The Milky Way over the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur from a couple years ago. The moon looks very full but was actually just a sliver... the long exposure made it look much larger than it was. It took some Lightroom tweaks to bring out the Milky way because of all the light from the moon. I used a small LED flashlight to illuminate the bridge.

Taken with a Canon 7D and a Tokina 11-16 at F2.8. 25 second exposure at ISO 1600.
