Are the clouds built to Cal. seismic specs or are they out of the zone that requires seismic specs ?

I want to share one thing with you guys.
This was also designed by Dan. I was going to overdo this project and he helped me out. http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax14.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax16.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax22.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax23.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax26.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax34.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax38.jpg http://i275.photobucket.com/albums/j...x/MaxJax50.jpg He even called Max Jax and had a pow-wow with them. Thanks Dan |

This particular cloud was built with 20 gauge metal studs on an existing web truss system (wood) 16" on center, then angled braces every 48" both directions (as typical, using Simpson metal connectors) and then more metal clips (A34s) on each stud to the truss. I think the whole roof will come down before this breaks loose (as usual). Quote:
