I woke up this morning to find out a nonsensical lawsuit against one of my businesses was dismissed by the judge. After three years and 20k in legal fees, I won. good news.

Feeling one less item of stress, I jumped on farcebook to see if there was anything good going on this weekend (at the beach there are about 400 in our private group and party invites are posted there). Good party Saturday, but also saw where 6 ladies I know flew to Paris for the weekend to celebrate a milestone birthday of one of them. I messaged them to find an outdoor bar on the Champs Elysees and order a round and send a cheers pic, and the round would be on me. A short time later I got the pic and venmo'd the money. See....useful and nearly immediate even 4000 miles across the pond. :cert:

Need pics of six ladies to prove authenticity.

Insipid people doing narcissistic things in a grasp for immortality.

It'll never work. We're all going to die anyway, lavish toasts or not.

You should know by now I don't post pictures like that. I'll post the first part of the discussion.

I have this thing called a phone people contact me on... Good news I'd rather hear anyway. Reading it is like bad scrambled cable porn. According to people I've talked to that is.

When you get a minute, please show me how to receive pictures on a phone if not using a messaging service?

I certainly don't need fakebook to recieve pictures and that's what you were referring to so...

Facebook is not about private exchange....it's about publicly preening.

Well, it’s putside.

My settings allow my page to be seen by friends only unless I change that for a specific reason OR I reply to a public page or a shared age. Aside from that idiotic amount of ads, I don't feel any invasion of my privacy. It allows me to communicate and get updates from people that I might not otherwise hear from or may not hear from me.

I'm not going to make a call to 5 friends to say I'm having a great dinner in Cabo, but I'll post it and if they care, they'll acknowledge. If they don't care, they won't. It's an economy of time., I can post when I want, they can read when they want. It's not all that different than this forum actually.

Its actually comical how many people post about not using social media on social media sites. :shots:

Epic thread fail - OP posts thread about a picture of 6 ladies and refuses to post said pic. Weak sauce indeed.

The post was about using the site as a tool, not posting pics of women I know. I have a long standing habit of not posting pics since the horndogs over the other place went a little overboard over a pic I posted of a casual "friend" 20 years younger than me.

Ya should of set up something at “the” place. L Avenue. Was my go to place for many years Bi- monthly visits. The scenery is to die for as most are trying to get into Vogue mag which is 1 block away. Ice bar at a hotel is right next to Canadian Embassy across the street. Memories :rofl:
