BEST Lime-aid recipe - (Well IMHO)
8 oz Real Lime (or fresh squeezed)
1/2 to 1 full cup of sugar (I like mine a bit tart so I go 1/2 cup) Dissolve sugar into lime juice to make a syrup. Pour 1 1/2 oz (or one shot) of the syrup into a tall glass. Pour in 1 - 12 oz can of Sprite into glass. Stir thoroughly. Add ice to fill. I usually keep a picture of the syrup in the fridge ready to make a lime aid on demand. Tip: Pour the Sprite into the glass first then the syrup, it will fizz up on you less and wont spill over. That is all  |
recipe needs more Rhum :seasix:

Still trying to figure out why you keep a "picture" in the refrigerator.:lol:

Well duh, I thought it was pretty obvious. But I do keep a pitcher of Limeade in there also. http://i479.photobucket.com/albums/r...erOne001-1.jpg |
Sounds good to me. :seasix: I was planning on making different syrups this summer. Peppermint is up next week, since I have so much in the garden now. Elderberry in a couple of weeks when it starts blooming. And I loooove lime, so it will fit right in.
And I'm sure we will try some alcoholic concoctions as well. |
I prefer my Sprite shaken, not stirred.

We always keep a couple of cans of this in the freezer for the odd Margarita binge....."there's booze in the blender..."
