He took the job

Friend of mine, grew up in rural Oregon, single mom (still crazy and good looking at early 80s), took a multi seven figure job in NYC. To 'change the direction of a national bank.'

Will be a five year gig. Putting off retirement in central Oregon, where they own a large home butting up against a national forest, a four car garage, one bay which stores his Airstream.:datawiz:

Good on him. Living the high life.

thx

WTF

jw38 01-27-2023 8:19pm

Thread makes no sense.

1. Sorry...no woman in her early 80s looks "good". Perhaps good for an early 80s woman (i.e. Raquel Welch), but not "good" in the true meaning of the word.
2. WTF bank hires an early 80s (insert gender) for a 5-year gig to change the direction of the bank? It's not a bank I want to be doing business with. There are thousands of extremely talented, much younger (insert gender) who could do a MUCH better job than an 80+ year old.
3. Is your friend gender fluid? She, he, or not certain?
4. Thread sucks ass!

He grew up in a single mom household. Never knew his father.

TheHammer 01-28-2023 10:08am

banks take deposits, make loans, assess stupid fees, make some money on the whole deal, pay their employees. doesn't sound that complicated.

I can see where one could be confused with my sloppy language in the first sentence. But the use of the "his" and "him" in the following sentences should have cleared that up for the reader. :nono:

OK here you go I am sorry it is all my fault that I was confused. I just don't have the higher understanding needed to keep up with your advanced education. :leaving:

In other words I just can't get my head that far up my ass.

Guy is a total loser compared to StorytellerStealth. No freedom, no van, no super-model wife waiting for him at home. Not even any raccoons.

Source of confusion:

Friend
Single mom
Good looking in 80s
5 year gig
multi seven figures
They
His

Fix all that and it should be good to go :seasix:
