You should be able to. But it may be a tad different than CF. I don't recall now.

I fixed that for ya. You should be able to post pics/links now.

Welcome to the Barn, and you need not be afraid to mention CF. DC, or any other forum. We don't mind.:)

Thanks guys.

Yea I have a lot of plans for her :P

Had the car about 6 years. And my father owned her before that. Recently did sound proofing in the car as well as a double din mod.

Planning on a bright paintjob here in the next few weeks. Along with the wheels I ordered last week :D

Does sound deadening actually work?

I would say greatly.

My brain no longer rattles inside of my skull.:issues: haha. It made freeway driving much quieter, which is nice when having a conversation with a passenger... usually my woman.

Also has made it to where I don't need to crank the stereo up so loud. I have an FRC so I was also able to get a trunk divider to increase the sound deadening. :seasix:

I did mine with StangKiller. All the materials cost less than 200. I'd do it again if I had to do it over.

Bucwheat 07-12-2012 10:08am

I did mine with something called peel and seal,it's in the roofing dept at lowes, pulled all the carpet out of my Dually crew cab first and installed one layer all over then two layers up near the fire wall.Worked pretty well and keeps the heat down,It comes in rolls of 25'x 6" it's got an adheasive rubber side and an aluminum reverse, very easy to work with,I started doing the rear of the vette but have not finished yet.
