I've seen this, the argument that it isn't simply all about heavy taxation, but here's my question....if it has to do with the flood of migrants, particularly Muslim migrants flooding France, why haven't the protestors gone to Muslim areas and set shit on fire and protested there?

Why haven't they busted up Muslim shops?

As much as we want this to be about the French retaking their country back from Islamists and other freeloading migrants taxing their system, I haven't seen that.

If the French are suddenly waking up to the problems with Socialism and Progressivism, then why did they just pass on the Conservative candidate Marine LePen and elect Macron?

I don't know if the French know what they want.

Then they really don't want to save their country. Busting up a Chanel store or burning police cars aren't really doing anyone any good. Going en masse, in force, to a 'no go' neighborhood and burning shit there, and busting up stuff there would send the correct message.

They are using the onerous global warming taxes to voice their general displeasure. Give it time and they will make a baguette. They are French after all.
