Running out to pick up a new-er snowblower. Mine is over 30 years old and a bit of an animal to use. New one has steering built in, lights, electric start, etc.
Should be able to sell the old one and move up for a couple hun.

:kimblair: Howdy, everyone.

Kerrmudgeon 12-06-2017 1:12pm

I had the old man in the hosp yesterday with pain in his leg. Too many damn immigrants lately has slowed our health system down way too much. The waiting room is like the united nations......burkas, saris, turbins......

Nice to be open armed to the world's refugees but first make bloody sure our infrastructure is ready for it....:thomas:

Hey Joe.....actually it's fairly common up here.....sounds like an old mariners word.....like to scuttle a ship. :bilmem:

Did you ever put a little wood stove in your shed for the cold months?

The local Performing Arts Center, which is an old art deco theatre that was donated to the Arts Council, is showing National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation this evening for a $5 admission tonight. I've never seen it on a big screen, so we may go tonight. Good way of supporting the Arts Council and having a nice evening out.

Don't know how old the term is, but it has become slang for rumors.

Nah, just put in a kerosene heater.

We have something similar, but they turned the place into an affordable dinner theater, which is rare in these parts. They may show a movie or put on a play. Then movies are old and the plays are amateurish, but it's still fun.

Still into the 70's here. Cloudy with rain coming this pm. turning colder and will be cold enough to freeze the balls off a pool table by Friday.

The garage is pretty much straightened out. Gotta build shelves in storage area. Gotta put a sink in the back outside. Got to fix my winery with a sink and heat and cool. I love hanging here. It is in a secluded place and very comfortable.

Kermie, can I get a pretty good deal on a snowblower in Buffalo or Fort Erie. I need an excuse to go there.

I've got a small stove pipe wood stove, nickle plated trim that would be perfect for it....called a Quebec heater.

Speaking of wine.....I just found 5 bottles of red that my sister made in '95! Would they still be good to drink? all stored on their side in a cool wine storage. :datawiz:

That's a pic off the net but it's the same. I need to do a little work on the inside brick lining, but it used to heat my whole cottage on cool nights. I moved up a little, this one will roast you out of the cottage on -30 nights.....:D
...again not mine, but exactly the same model....
