Canon Pro 100.
 

Got it on sale for $199 with a $200 rebate. Ordered the 8 pack of ink and got 10 packs of various size photo paper. 4x6, 5x7, 8.5x11 and 13x19 free with the order of ink. That was in Feb for the rebate on the printer. They just had the next level up Pro 10 for $299 with a $200 rebate. Not sure when it ends.

Congrats on the printer! I have a Pro-100 that I got as part of a promotion when I upgraded my camera recently. I've printed several 13x19 prints (deal came with 50 sheets of semi gloss paper) and am amazed at the quality. Way better than the generic prints from wally world, etc.

I found some 1/2 inch thick black foam board at Hobby Lobby and have been mounting the prints on it with some spray adhesive. I print them borderless and trim the foam board flush with the edge. makes a nice contemporary mounting. Guess I'll get into making frames at some point.

So far the only down side is the ink is EXPENSIVE. Looking into options to do refills. I do a lot of night stuff and the gray and black are almost gone.

i suppose the Pro-10 is better, but this one does a great job.

Thanks for the link! I'd been considering this place, Precision Colors C5B as I'd read good reviews on them... in fact one of the only places with good reviews for Pro-100 refills aside from Canon. But the Canon offer is intriguing. A single 50 sheet box of 13x19 is $36 and change on Amazon so between the paper and other items, the OEM ink is really affordable. Of course if I get more paper I have to use more ink, right?

Yeah, more paper = more ink. It's a trap!! :lol: I got 10 free things of paper when I ordered but that offer expired. I need to use a lot of ink I guess. :99pewtercoupe:
