Agreed.... but hard to find around here...

NotSlo 04-23-2022 9:19pm

Love it. 39 bucks. Way overpriced in the secondary market.

Is it as good as Old Crow?

I am in Georgia and paid $65.00 at a local liquor store... I sometimes wish I lived in Kentucky.

Hey I was just goofin’ - I like OC because it’s cheap and tastes close to Jim Beam. Plus if it was good enough for U.S. Grant, Mark Twain and Hunter S. Thompson, then it’s good enough for me. :datawiz:

Rarely do alcohol so it's funny that I just poured myself a shot glass full of Fireball and sat down to this post

I don't usually care for hard liquor, but I discovered I really like the taste of Crown Royal Regal Apple whisky. Enjoy a glass of it once in a while :yesnod:

I like Eagle Rare. It was my introduction to whiskey the year I moved to Louisiana. Angels Envy and Buffalo Trace are always on the shelf. Russell’s Reserve is next on the list.

As my journey into the world of whiskey continues, it’s neat comparing my taste to the Whiskey Vault. Daniel talks about some interesting facts about distillers.

For a cheap thrill, Evan Williams standard bottle tastes like more than it costs, and their single barrel has been uniformly excellent without breaking the bank. The Buffalo Trace brand just recently resurfaced locally after a long absence... it is nice for the price as well. BTW, Eagle Rare is a Buffalo Trace brand.

Take note Evan Williams single barrel is going to be only available in Kentucky shortly, I think the last batch to other states shipped recently so buy it up if you like it. For 30/bottle I find it hard to beat as a 7-8 yo
