Tires and Wheels
Well, my Dunlops are starting to look a bit worn...(ok more than a bit, fronts are on the wear bars) but I'm having a hard time finding more than 1 choice of 255 60 15.
I've been thinking about replacing the tired looking stock Alu rims with something different and it might be a good time to think about going with a completely different Rim and tire size to something a bit more modern. Might also help with stability. I don't want to screw up the speedo so I guess the over all diameter would need to be the same? Any thoughts on a good solution? |
Torque Thrusts in 17" or something of that nature.Fifteen and sixteen's are becoming more passe'.:sadangel:
I will fully admit nothing looks better than a big fat 15" sidewall tire on classic Detroit iron or fiberglass but as time marches on we are being tossed to the side of the road with our needs.:sadangel::sadangel: Just be glad our bolt pattern has still been in use all these years.:yesnod: |
