Who has a fire extinguisher?
 

Seems like all the cool cats have fire extinguishers in their cars so naturally I had to have one too. I was also bored and couldn't think of anything to buy for the Vette until it hit me... Fire Extinguisher!

I've had one in every car ever since I saw that VW transporter on fire running down the highway and the driver was too scared to stop!

One in each vehicle..............except the new vert. Could have helped a C6 guy smoldering in the pits at VIR but I didn't have one........:)

I have a small chrome one I can't find a bracket for,still looking.

What size & type is the extinguisher, 2.5lb? I found some pretty cool mounts while looking for mine.

I keep one in all my vehicles. Never know when it'll come in handy.

I have a 2.5lb halon in the 2000 & I have no idea what's inside the 2.5lb in the 1974. I guess the Passat will just burn on the side of the road.

Mine is strapped to the roll bar in the back passenger side of the Jeep.

I keep one in my passenger footwell..it's not mounted...but just there for emergencies, as I'm working out the final issues with my blower set up.

I was talking to a deputy sheriff last Tuesday night. He was telling me that a fire extinguisher works really well against police attack dogs. He said that the dogs turn tail & run away & hide. But he said that when they return either you shouldn't still be there or you should shoot them.

Make sure you can get it out of the mounting bracket. When it is mounted under you legs it is not always easy to get to it. Once you exit the vehicle it will be easier.

I cannot image using these against a police dog, but if one was to go crazy I have both options covered. :D
