I think I'd rather carve my guts than be called on the carpet by Trey.

Meh. Get yelled at and harassed by Gowdy for an hour or so, leave, and go back to whatever you were doing before, with no consequences.

We enjoy him getting to say what we all want to say, but other than that, nothin'.

Until Sleepy Jeff wakes up, all this embarassing information coming out about a politicized Justice Department is just that.

I will agree I enjoy watching him verbally bend folks over. But you're right, the result is just talk.

Well, he did say that he'd be surprised McCabe still had a job at the FBI by the end of the week. Today McCabe announced his early retirement. Also the top FBI council James Baker was fired. Things are, shall we say, happening.

BTW, the ones "retiring" or getting merely "fired" are the ones who likely cut a deal. And are singing sweet little songs.

The congressional hearings are all sideshow action compared to the storm that's coming next month with the OIG's report comes out. Expect many more people to be wearing walking casts. BTW, Hillary and McCain have been wearing their's for going on two entire months now, maybe more. McCain even switches legs occasionally.

That's what I especially find funny.

He supposedly, also, has a Stage IV cancer that became public during the summer. Correct me if I'm wrong but folks at that stage don't continue an active life style including providing a thumbs down during votes with trips across the country. Only very lately, he has been "Not needed" for votes and in further treatment.

My uncle who I wrote about this week had an aggressive brain tumor, sounded very similar to McCain's diagnosis. He went from not even knowing a thing about it to walking around with a bucket to throw up in a month later to dead three months after diagnosis. Obviously all "terminal brain cancers" are different but the dichotomy between him and McCain is duly noted.

Retirement next year, coincidentally, the mark he needs to make to collect his full government pension, isn't exactly a win. Also, the last I heard, FBI counsel and McCabe testimony buddy got reassigned, not fired. He's still there, at the FBI, working against Trump.

Corruption and the "Ole Boy Network" runs deep in DC.

I enjoy his tweets. If he were on Seinfeld, POTUS Trump would be in the "Opposite" episode. Just like George did everything the opposite he usually did and gamed the system.
