Salesman of the DECADE
Respect. I'd also like to know who is loaning this money. Bold move, Cotton, let's see how it works out. |
I noticed something very tellling in the photos. A 13%'r taking advantage of other 13%'rs, by having the finance department charge 30% interest rates. Make way for a rash of repossessions to hit the market soon. I wonder how difficult it will be to get the hair grease off the seats.

NFW can that be real. :willy:

Maybe those folks learned how to give out trash loans then sell them off immediately to still be profitable.
Or these are super brainwashed idiot customers that think this is the cost of supporting black businesses even though their culture is one of hustling and exploitation. |
I grew up in Baltimore and I knew and worked with a lot of the brothers. Their motto concerning new cars was: "I may not own them long, but I own them 1st" :Jeff '79:

Here I thought this was gonna be about our favorite used car dealer FPD,,,,:D

I would say that certainly qualifies as being underwater with that kind of financing.--

Obviously possesses the skills to be an inner city politician, has probably not spoken with his conscience in decades.

It's actually not that bad of a deal. Pay $2,500 the first month and then $0 the next 4 months before it is taken back. That's $500 a month for a brand new Tahoe. Plus you get two new cars a year.

We hired a guy who came to Houston 'looking for a fresh start.' He had, at the time, a still pretty nice Lincoln...Continental or Town Car. He drove that thing into the ground, leather ripped, etc. He later told me the bank that financed it was looking for it, because he simply stopped paying for it, and moving out of state, that was an easy way to hide it.
He moved in with his brother. I had dropped off our employee and came in for a minute to visit with both of them, and we saw a light company truck drive in the parking lot. I made a joke they were there to cut off the lights, and about 5 minutes later.....[click] lights got cut off. Two brothers, one who worked for FedEx full time, the other who worked part time for us AND FedEx, living in a not terribly high end apartment.....didn't pay the light bill. |
@repo will collect those vehicles in a few months.
