Whatcha drinking tonight?

Evan Williams 2011 single barrel, 86.6 proof for me. Buttery flavor straight mellowing to silky smooth if you add 1 part water to 4 parts whiskey. Nice.

Jefferson's Very Old, very Small batch bourbon. 4 ice cubes.

Stangkiller 04-20-2019 10:10pm

I tried the Ocean. OK, but did not live up to the hype for me. I would try a "simpler" version at some point though. I am finding I prefer older whiskeys.

Moonshine :seasix:

Whistlepig Rye this evening. Bold and brash without any burn.

I still have a bit of the $600 bottle of McCallen 21 year left, but I think I'm off to bed. Scott's in town, might hook up on Sunday. May need to procure a fresh bottle of $600 scotch. :yesnod:

I have tried many different Gins. I have to confess it is not for me.

I only buy the 24 oz. cans. I'm a big guy like you (well I'm a bit taller ), but a pay a premium for those cans because a small 12 oz. can is a waste of my time. I like my beer to be aligned with who I am. :D:datawiz::cert:

The amount I spend on beer, compared to the rest of the household budget, is like nixing a pack of sticky notes in an office store.

Ever had a Hendrick's and club soda with cucumber and star anise garnish?

I could drink that shit till I die.

Almost grabbed a bottle of Hendrick's today but all the knowitalls on the internet say Bombay Sapphire goes better with the St Germain liqueur. Been waiting a while to get some since I tried it at Christmas.

Sorry. Didn't have the bottle in front of me. I'm not the aficionado that Scott is. He's the reason I bought the silly bottle.

I love the 710mL cans too but they don't fit in the fridge well.

I never buy regular size cans either. Tall boys 4ever.
