Next Monday and Tuesday (27 & 28) the Corvette Museum will have their annual HPDE @ VIR. Admission is free and you can take some parade laps each day during lunch. Rides with instructors are available and require a helmet. See the NCM web site for the cost of the ride alongs. A car show is also planned.

Getting excited !! Time to start car prep. I've still got to bed my new Carbotech RP2's and change out my brake fluid.

Put new pads in about a month ago before heading to VIR. Should be good to go. Just need to do the brake fluid.

Car is prepped. :dance::dance: New brake fluid, Carbotech RP-2's and XP-8's, Bilstein shocks and Toyo R888's.

I REALLLLLY need seats. Next years addition.


BTW- Bedding the RP2s on a local road gets you some funny looks. :lol:

Would have been nice to have some A/C both days.Spent some time in the classroom area to cool down. I have an 02 Z06, quicksilver with blue painters tape on the front and along the sides. I think the man I talked to said you were in a black C6.

Had quite a few black cars pass me. Don't remember seeing any silver stripes.Is your car a Grand Sport or coupe?

Do you attend any FATT events at Summit ? I think we are doing the NASA event in August. Plus I'll hit a FATT either late July or August.
