A Canadian saying they are expecting snow is like somebody saying they expected the sun to rise.

we have 2" right now outside and still snowing

Torqaholic 01-22-2013 11:39am

I'd rather have lots of snow than not if it's going to be cold out. We only got a dusting last night. It's 63 degrees in my house right now and the thermostat is set on 78 :sadangel: Been running the oven with the door open, if it gets any worse the top burners are going on too.

jaxgator 01-22-2013 11:42am

:funny: We are expecting to drop all the way down to 37* tonight. BRRRR!!!

Your furnace and freezer are both broken? My condolences.

Today is the coldest day. It's -12. Wed -9. Thurs -11. Fri,Sat -6. Sun -2, Mon +4.

I still haven't turned the heat on in the store. :D
My office heater is at 22, and the showroom is at a balmy 15, and the work area is at 12. :D :D
I'm not paying $400 a month for electric rooftop heat like last year.

But you've got warm walls on both sides right? We were up to +6 last week in the mid-January thaw, long enough to melt some snow with the rain, which turned all the side streets into skating rinks.:willy:

and now it's a deep freeze.....-30C tonight's low. Yikes!

that's -22F for you suth'ners. :willy:

The furnace works, it just can't keep up with this kind of cold when it's windy. No stale air problems in this house when it's windy... As long as it doesn't fall down
