Anyone have any hot rods? 20's-40's?

Im thinking about starting a project... Trying to find a 1933 or 34 chevy pickup...

Id like it to look something along these lines when completed...

I think in this economy you can by one that is done a lot cheeper than trying to put one together yourself.

There are plenty out there for sure. I would guess you can get into one built for mid 20's and it would be a real nice driver
To build one you are looking at mid-30's if you do most of the work.
This is what I had in this but I did 99% of the work

Take some good advice: If you want a hot rod, go out and buy it already completed. I watch the Mecum auctions every week and I see these absolutely stunning hot rods cross the block that are sold for anywhere between $25 and $50K. And almost every time, the announcer says "I talked to the owner and he says he has 60, 70, 80 thousand in this car" and I believe it.

You can have a beautiful piece of machinery for a fraction of the cost of building it, and you can enjoy it immediately.

:iagree: And with a lot of things custom on these rides there is a ton of time involved.
