Electrical Gremlin has the Z down.
Got the dreaded Charging System Fault.
Replaced the alternator since it was smoking. No Joy. Took it to Advance, they ran the diagnostic. Not getting a charge to the Battery. Alternator was bench checked. Checked good. Thoughts? |
Buehler? :confused5:
|
Since it was smoking have you checked the associated wiring connected to the alternator? Battery? Belt?
|
Yeah, I'm cleaning grounds now...
When I'm not working that is. |
Pull the battery and check cables, maybe battery is leaking acid onto something.
|
I did get that message once, caused me to do a little research. I found this....
maybe it will work for you. |
