My Dad caught his flight this morning....
 

Hey, VB peeps. After a long and courageous struggle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's Disease, my Dad took his flight into eternity this morning.

Our hearts are heavy with grief, but we're unquestionably sure, strong and secure in knowing that he's in the loving arms of Jesus.

Please keep our family in your prayers and thoughts in the days ahead. :sadangel:

Sad to hear his time here was up. It is comforting to know that he is no longer terrified and bewildered. This disease is just wicked. :sadangel:

My step dad is in the final stages and Mom is researching funeral homes this week.

So sorry to hear that Julian. I recently had some real mixed emotions when my mother died after struggling for several years. I find relief knowing she is in that great place.

Sorry to hear that Julian....Lord knows your family has had more than it's share of problems this year. How old a man was your Dad? :sadangel:

:sadangel: Sorry man, back in '85 my BIL passed away, lung cancer, on TG day too boot......Sis was saying on the phone just the other day, she is forever depressed every TG, at least you can avoid that feeling over TG in the future.....Take care guys/gals.....
