I watched it, was neat seeing the close-up before contact.
Luckily Discovery carried Nasa channel Feed at the hospital.

I didn't have sound at the time, but I wonder how long it takes to find that out?

I know the camera on the end of the ram took 45 seconds to respond back to earth, but what else is available for rapid translation?
