Looks like a pretty boring, civil "Protest"
 

I'm not saying it was right, because it was illegal and laws need to be strictly enforced - to the letter. But, looks pretty calm to me. I thought "rioters" were supposed to loot, murder, steal, pillage and set people's property on fire - and, cover their faces in shame like hoodlums and thugs so that the po-lees can't identify them? Or, does that just apply to SeattleBLM, Portland, Chicago...
Glad they didn't take a page from the others book of "protest" which, by the looks of them, representing at least 75.2M others of all colors and creeds, and fed up with California/NY values being shoved down their midwest throats, likely wouldn't have even crossed most of their minds for a nano-moment. Just imagine that.

Overall, that was perpetrated by a small group of people, not the masses. Except for the police murder of the girl, most of the other deaths were from "medical emergencies", so probably heart attacks. No fires, no destroyed cop cars, and no comparison to what has happened in other parts of the United States for months, going back to last summer. Some minor damage, so let's move on. Most people were already leaving the area, before any of the shenanigans went on. I know two people who had friends and family there, and the stories are the same.:yesnod:

Yes, he was hit with a fire extinguisher and went back to his office, where he died from a (covid related) aneurism.

Compare and contrast with the blm/antifa thugs burning and looting cities all year. Weird how this same level of interest was never applied to them. Remember when the Portland federal courthouse was burned and vandalized nightly, for weeks at a time? Do you remember this kind of "hammer of God" style retribution for those rioters? Me neither.

What's different? Oh, these are purportedly Trump supporters.

I suspect that most of the violence was done by blm/antifa plants. Heck, we know a blm guy named John Sullivan was Johnny on the spot when the female patriot was gunned down. And he was simply questioned, then released, once the FBI figured out he was blm. He was on the FBI's side, so he got a really quick pass, but they're gonna go after everyone else who doesn't check out so well.

Heck, there is video of many of the people who entered the Capitol observing the velvet ropes while walking through. They didn't topple all the statuary, they didn't destroy all the oil paintings.....they didn't do any of that.

They were overzealous and wanted their voices heard, and came to tell 536 people who are obviously tone deaf that they want to petition for the redress of grievances.....just like the Constitution tells them to do.
