I had smoked trout with horseradish sauce, white asparagus with a dollop of Duke's mayo, 2 thick slices of a vine ripe tomato, and a French baguette. And a gin and tonic, of course. Delicious! What's on your plate tonight?

Caesar salad with a sliced apple in it, extra Parmesan of course. :sneaks:

Apple is the secret ingredient to many recipes. I use it in all lettuce based salads, fish sauces, chicken salad, tuna salad, etc.

Those are pretty good if you eat about four of them.

Sweet chili duck wings, a side of onion rings. A Bell's Hopslam with the meal and a Delirium Tremens for dessert. Yum.

Grilled pork chops, garlic rice, and mixed vegetables (canned).

I like their spinach. Seasoned well, right out of the can. Add some onions, garlic, and cheese, and.....mmmmmm.

Had guests tonight. SIL and her boyfriend were here. Tri-Tip with bourbon marinade, broccoli with cheese sauce and rice pilaf. For desert a chocolate cream pie with graham cracker crust and whipped cream. Wildhurst Petit Syrah wine to drink.

Home made egg mcmuffin tonight......two fried eggs, slice of ham, Havarti cheese, Sriracha hot sauce on a toasted whole wheat english muffin. Mmmmmm!:sneaks:

Wife and daughter are going to visit the great grandaughter for the weekend.

I am stuck pretty much in the middle of nowhere in North Florida and the hotel told me about this place. I had my doubts but it was damn good barbeque and the other stuff looked great.
