Just get a pre-owned Rolex Submariner, you don't have to wind it, it will keep great time, classic look that never goes out of style, totally waterproof of course, and it will set you back a few thousand. Definitely less than $4k.

I gave my Father's watch to my son.....I had a gold watch once, worst POS I ever had, more time in the shops than on my wrist, sold it many decades ago....:issues:

Does that watch come in blue? 'Cause I'd only be interested in it if it came in blue.

Psst: Don't sell yours without checking out what they really bring. Unless, of course, you want to unload your Submariner super cheap to me. :leaving:

I wonder how much the clock in my cell phone is worth.

VITE1 10-01-2017 11:25am

If I could afford something like that I'd buy one. The mechanical artistry needed to build them is timeless.

Put it in a pencil case and get an invite to the White House.

Oh, wait....nevermind, that was last year. This year, it gets you nothing.

I seriously don't know. I think new in 1997 mine cost about $4k, but I didn't buy it, it was an award. What would a stainless Submariner go for that's 20 years old? Mine was totally refurbed less than a year ago, looks perfect and works perfect.

I haven't seen any recently for less than $5,500 from a reputable seller. Yours would likely bring more because of the recent service by a great Rolex service guy. :cert:
