My father in law and I used dynamite for the same reason with huge success. Of course this was in the early 80's and it was easy to get the stuff back then.

Somehow I damn sure that any GUY growing up some decades ago, got tons of fun from guns, explosions, actual pipe bombs, etc.....

then there was geeks like me who shot old TV sets smack in the screen out in a field just to watch the CRT blow the entire set to smithereens....:rofl::lol: and raise hell with the neighbor 3+ acres away.... much less the section 8 burb, built in the mid 60's yet.....about 1/2 mile away.....
