Songs I didn't like but like now

Is there any songs that any of you didn't like when they were out but like them now. For me there was a number of songs from the 60's when I was growing up that I didn't like . Now I like a lot of those songs. Here are two examples.

I'm starting to take a liking to some classic Country Music lately. Willie's Roadhouse is a preset on my XM Radio and I am really enjoying Ken Burns' Country Music Documentary on PBS. Anyone else watching that?

The Blues and Country Music had a baby, and they named it Rock and Roll.:yesnod:

:iagree:I use to not care for country or the Blues but now I like the Delta blues and 60's and 70's country. I also now like Motown and Bluegrass.

The Vogues - "Five O'Clock World" (HD) (HQ Remastered Audio) (Best) - YouTube

We Five - You Were On My Mind (Live On Hollywood Palace) - YouTube

I've been listening to Dave Clark Five radio on Pandora and rediscovering this genre of songs.

Other than the regulars mentioned, once in a while I like to hear some 40's big band stuff and then hop into some Lynrd Skynrd

I've been searching youtube to find some old tunes:

and the double pistols from the dancing girls.

Another oldie but goodie

Check out the gal...man can she move...

Why do the YouTube links posted on here on our site show (at least for me???) as “Video Unavailable” almost every time that try to click on one? Anyone else having this same, predictable issue here?

Best buddy and I have talked about this a lot. Growing up in the 60's, we were far too cool to listen to a lot of what we recognize now is great music. This album is a good example; a few years ago I'd been embarrassed for someone to see it in my collection. Now I consider it one of the top 25 or so albums recorded. This from a guy who often says, "Country is to Music what Etch-a-sketch is to art."

Those songs told stories. Stories about people and places. After you listened to them you felt like you had read a book, and could visualize the scenes as if you had been there and knew those people.

Motown was my favorite as a teen and still is. I would never listen to something like this, but I like it now.
