WEEK 4

We're getting into the swing of things now. Last week's #11, #12, and #13 teams all went down with Michigan State, BYU, and Miami losing to Washington, Oregon, and Texas A&M, respectively. Florida and Wake Forest BARELY escaped brutal upsets against USF and Liberty. Penn State strolled into SEC country and gave Auburn a country-boy ass-whoopin.

This week we have some great games, including 3 match-ups between Top 25 teams today. #5 Clemson gets their first real test against #21 Wake Forest on the road, a match-up between the ACC's best defense (Clemson) and offense (Wake) so far. #10 Arkansas faces #23 Texas A&M in primetime at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. And the rivalry is renewed between . . . .

GAME OF THE WEEK: #20 Florida @ #11 Tennessee

One of the great early season rivalry games every year, this one should be no different. Tennessee's high-flying offense under Josh Heupel scores quickly and in bunches. They'll compete against a UF offense led by top NFL QB prospect Anthony Richardson. If UF loses, that's 2 SEC East losses and good-bye to their SEC title hopes for good.

Anyone checked on Candie? How’s she holding up?

This season is actually going to get interesting as the in-conference schedules start adding losses. Nobody in the top 5 looked terribly impressive. Clemson may have an easy path, even though they haven't done anything deserving of their ranking.

It's interesting to think that we may have gotten to the point of reasonable parity, and how NIL may be the first creep step toward driving parity in the other direction.

You have no room to be laughing at other teams that are failures like the Ducks...:spdchk:

after the way the Gators played yesterday, they are now eligible to get drafted by the Jaguars...and any team losing to the jags gets thrown out of the NFL.

I disagree out of the Top 5 OSU looked somewhat impressive but with that horrible porous defense they will get eaten up by a decent team.

Any good team will carve up that D like a Thanksgiving Turkey

Cajuns lost their coach last year...I dont think they've won a game since, for sure not a regular season. :(
