The one with the man cutting down the long branch and going flying off the ladder is quite close to what happened a few years ago to a guy my son worked with! Spent a month in the hospital and a month at a rehabilitation out fit and he still hurts a lot. Broke ribs, arm, legs, shoulder, had spleen removed.

Guess the tree took offense at having appendages cut off.

Hate that things like this happen, but they do. Some for comic relief. Some as a reminder to think before acting.

Yeh, no shit, many years ago, I went to cut a branch off some stupid tree, and so it landed leaves first and sprang up with the WOOD coming right at me, got lucky it wasn't THAT big and I managed to deflect it just enough, and stay on the ladder.....never again......no wonder the tree guys climb up above the branch then lean over to drop it....
