Time for a Corvette Forum banned roll call!
 

Who here has been banned from that other Corvette forum? Also, was it for a week, a month, or perma-banned (like me)???

I prefer the term "Excommunicated" myself...

I've been wanting to post this same thread! Please post up why you got banned too. Inquiring minds want to know.

Oh yeah... I've never been banned but i did get a warning PM once for posting "free post" in a thread.

Been on there for 9 years and have never been officially banned.

But I do occasionally take time off on my own rather than say what I'm thinking about certain other posters, mods or admins.

Have had plenty of close encounters over the years, mainly with deceptive vendors...But never been banned there.

If I ever do, I already know who it will come from. (not Jim)

Okay, here we go:

First username - TheAngelOfDeath (later changed to NEVRL8T) banned once for a week for inappropriate pics (Alizee). Put in moderation for attacking a mod (GDaina). Thirty day ban for inappropriate comments, "sexually toned" and abusive comments and tactics. Permabanned by Jesse for inciting a riot and inappropriate comments. Neece can tell you about the last post that got me permabanned . Hint: Don't ever post "ya'll don't trip over your dicks now." Lol.

Second username - LuvTheVettes permabanned for returning after being permabanned.

Not yet, but I'm working on it. :D

I was under moderation for a week for troll baiting. Mullet was in on that. It was totally worth it. :lol:

I got slapped with a 60 day ban for inappropriate pics (I think it was the 11th infraction, I lose track).

Jesse claimed that my next infraction will result in a permanant ban.

I have been following the Bucky Threadkiller style of self editing. It's not as much fun. :(

Scorched Earth ban doesn't even begin to describe it. :rofl:

i posted up the "whooty video" which gave me my first banning... her ass is amazing though.
The second banning happed was also for a week. It was the smallville flapping gif.
Totally worth it.

I was banned for a week once. I posted (I assume) my opinion in a for sale thread that went bad. I never received anything indicating why, just try to login one day and saw that I time off for a week.

2 weeks for the GDaina 'cat thread':beat:

30 day ban shortened to a week for getting into an argument with Jersey Jay. There was a thread asking what the top speed of a coupe was w/ the targa top out. Virgual Geezer started saying that the thread woule be locked because it was discussing speeding which was illegal and not allowed on the forum. I chimed in that it was ridiculous and that the thread would stay open because it was not discussing an actual event... rather asking a technical question. Afterall we were all on the forum because of our common interst in a car that can go 170+ right from the factory. Well the thread was locked so I have Jay a piece of my mind... that put me on his ****list... they were/are 100% in the wrong and I didn't let it go... I mean it's a slippery slope to lock threads on the basis that they discuss "illegal" activities... what about lowering? What about LT headers and no-cats, etc. etc., what about window tint? In many states all of these are "illegal".

Then I got let out of ban... and in one of my own threads in OT I posted a link to bignaturals.com which is a porno site... did it as a joke b/c the type of women was very relevant to the topic at hand...


Bam perma ban... 7+ years 25k+ posts... mostly technical and very helpful down the crapper.

Lately I've been emailing back and forth with Jim Willis (savewave) and he won't budge... won't give me a 2nd chance and says that because I tried to make a few fake logins I have no respect for rules... ugh.

Screw 'em! Who the hell needs 'em? You're better off here, anyway!!!

Screw him. I want to powerbomb Jesse.
