Saw one on the GSP yesterday....looks really nice...:thumbs:..anyone have one or have driven one ?

Just replaced the Acura sedan I totaled - hit a huge buck at ~75mph - with an Acura RDX about 3 months ago. Liking the looks of the Blazer... wish timing had been different. I might have considered the Chevy.

I've driven a few, they are really nice. The interior is just like a Camaro.

Our first one was exactly like that, sold in 4 days.

I don't see any lineage with the "real" Blazer.

It should have been based off a Chevy truck. This is like a rebadged/updated Traverse.

Chatted w/salesman while car was getting serviced.

He looked it up, it's about 8" longer than the Equinox.

Ha....and I am thinking of a RDX or MDX......

Updated Traverse? The Traverse was updated last year, and is WAY bigger.

The Blazers are using the same config as the Caduillac XT5 and GMC Acadia.

It sits between the Traverse (big) and the Equinox (small) SUV/CUV.

3.6L 305hp engine for the Premium/RS packages, and a few LT
2 models.
I like the fact that the V6 AWD has a selector for 2 or 4wd, with various modes in between.
Don't care for the projector HID headlamps.
Considering the RS Blazer (9 spd auto) vs the Ford Edge ST 335hp (2.7L V6, 8 spd auto), right now I'm leaning
towards the Ford (which has paddle shifters, Blazer doesn't).
Just don't care for the automated AWD Ford offers (have that in my current Escape LTD which I'll trade.

Saw one just like Mike sold while I was at the dealer getting the oil changed in my Z06 yesterday, it looks good from the front, and the interior is nice but not as big as I would like.

Meh. Horsepower aside there's a ton of SUVs like the wife's Forester that have been around nearly forever now. GM is WAY late to this party.

Took a new Blazer RS to lunch today.

I have to hand it to GM for making a vehicle that looks like every other SUV on the road. Good Job!

Do those Johnny Rocket air vents light up and change color? Perhaps they spin like jet engine turbines? Not subtle.

The Blazers in my life have to be body on frames.

GM missed an opportunity to build something awesome to turn peoples attention from the new Bronco. Instead they give us a 50k suv built in Mexico that looks like everything else out there that will drop in value like a rock.
