Those little 70 model MGB's are easy to steal. :yesnod:
They're also one of the few Brit cars without electrical gremlins in the earth circuit.

bumper to bumper

Jack high, or jack stands, or lift.....you fav. beverage, tunes and comfy creeper, roller stool;
then connections one at a time. :yesnod:

undo
sand/grind/clean
corrosion protection
re-do

Afterwards:
Relax, enjoy, drink your beverages, and waller in the magnanimous glory of your accomplishment.
Pound your chest and let the neighborhood know you have once again made a British product better, and roar in triumphant tones!

Rubber bumpers, steel wheels. The driving experience will be the same as a true vintage example though.

Love it. Brother turned 16 about that year. We stayed in the dealership many hours with him trying to decide to buy one or not. Also, the Fiat dealership with the Spider 2000. I liked the Spitfire and TR7 believe it or not. I still remember the new car smell on those in the showroom.

What's the plans for it?

I actually looked at a '75 a few weeks ago. Blue, black interior, 80 some odd miles. Ran pretty good. Brakes sucked. Asking $2500 on it. Bought the Dodge truck instead. Needed the truck more than the go cart.
I had a '74 many years ago. Last of the chrome bumper cars. My brother has had several B's. Mine was a little red one, black interior.Attachment 43979

They are fun little cars. Hope she enjoys it!
