Do you sleep well at night ?

Physical or mental ? I almost always sleep with a clean conscience . I screwed up a few things coaching over the years that kept me awake but overall I sleep well.

I sleep like a baby. From 2am to 10pm :yesnod:

I generally don't sleep well unless I take some sort of OTC sleep aid. Melatonin helps, as does an antihistamine. Even with them, if I wake up in the middle of the night & start thinking about something, I have trouble falling back asleep. It's gotten worse as I've gotten older.

Some nights I go right to sleep and then there are others if I am thinking about something a I have trouble falling asleep.:cert:

When I go to bed angry, I don't sleep well.
When I go to bed in pain, I don't sleep well.
I need a new mattress, so most nights, I don't sleep well.

DJ_Critterus 12-27-2019 7:09pm

I rarely sleep and even when I do I have to have a CPAP and often some sleep aids or a few shots to get to sleep.

Our new mattress made a huge difference.

:sadangel: Sorry DJ.

Horrible. I will usually sleep about 4 hr and then wake up. Sometimes I can go back to sleep but most often not. Those times that I am able to go back to sleep result in bad dreams. It’s ****ed up. It’s weird because I will go stretches that I wake up at exactly 1 am. I mean, right on the dot.

Stranger still, I am under virtually no stress whatsoever. I’m retired, so life is good. Just can’t sleep.

No need to be sorry. I’m used to it, but the docs say it’s weird I’m almost 42, not overweight, and still need the CPAP. I can trace the problem back to my deployment when it started so my claim goes in the end of this month which should put me at 100% with the VA within a few weeks.
