Need prayers

1 month ago I started feeling bad and went to the ER at Kettering Hos. Thought I might have clogged arteries. Turns out they are ago. I was admitted to the hospital and after test it was discovered that I have lung cancer and it has spread. I am now going through chemo. Have had 1 3 day session and have 2 more in October. Please pray for me so that I can get back to a normal life.

Dan, I'm sorry to hear, but have faith that you and your family will get through this.

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31

You got it! Make sure you keep eating your fruits and veggies. That chemo will beat you down where you lose energy and appetite.

This house will be praying for strength and recovery :seasix:

from my experience with my wife Linda over the past year or so, of her reactions to Chemo, the side effects suck. they make you weak, your appetite suffers, and you feel like crap. and then you feel better right before the next session.

so if there is something you want to do, do it. hope for the best, plan for the worst. tell those who you love, that you love them. hug, kiss, cherish, spend time with them.

i do hope you beat this, same as Linda expected to beat her diagnosis. but only God knows the length of our days, so enjoy each one you are granted.

Sorry to hear. I hope chemo doesn't hit you too hard. It can be a bear.

Seems I read something today that they've discovered a virus that attacks cancer? I'd probably prefer to try something like that myself. Chemo's apparently no joy ride. After the second chemo treatment my mom said she'd rather die than continue getting them, and so that's what she did.

Best of luck.

Yes. I hope you have someone with you that will force you to eat and walk. Those are a must.

Good luck. Cancer and chemo is a bitch.
